No Stock. No Waste. Why Shoes Take 15 to 20 Days
Somewhere in the checkout flow of most shoe stores there is a promise of two-day delivery. We cannot make that promise, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. A Cocco Miami order takes 15 to 20 days to reach you.
That number is not a logistics failure. It is the direct consequence of how the shoes are made — and once you know what is happening in those days, it is usually the part of the brand people like most.
We do not have a warehouse of your shoes
Most footwear works like this: a brand guesses how many size 8s in black it will sell next season, has them made in bulk, and stores them. Whatever it guessed wrong on gets marked down, then marked down again, and what still does not sell at the end of the season is written off.
We do not do that. Your pair does not exist until you order it.
That is what No stock. No waste. means, and it is a literal description of the operation rather than a slogan. Nothing we make sits unsold, because nothing is made before someone wants it.
What happens in those 15 to 20 days
The shoes are made in southern Brazil, in the region that has produced the country's footwear for generations. Roughly, the sequence is:
- Your order reaches the atelier. Your size, your color, that model.
- The leather is cut and lasted by hand. This is the part that cannot be rushed and is the reason the shoe fits the way it does. It is done by people who have done this work their whole lives.
- The pair is finished and checked — the heel, the sole, the stitching, the finish.
- It ships to you and we email you the tracking number.

Fifteen to twenty calendar days, door to door. A handmade shoe and an international flight, in less than three weeks.
What it costs
Shipping is free on orders over US$399. Below that, it is US$10, US$15 or US$20 depending on the weight of the order — the exact figure appears at checkout before you pay.
Import duties are on us. This is worth spelling out, because it is the part that catches people off guard with other imported brands: there is no customs bill waiting at your door, and no courier asking you for money before they will hand over the box. The price you see at checkout is the price of the order.
The full shipping policy has the details.
And if it is not right?
Waiting for something makes getting the wrong size much more annoying, so we made that part easy:
- 30 days to return or exchange.
- A free prepaid UPS label — returns go to our Orlando address, not back to Brazil.
- Unlimited exchanges. Change the size, or change the style entirely, as many times as you need.

What you get for the wait

A pair made in your size, that month, by hand, in a country that makes some of the best leather footwear in the world and almost never gets its name on the box. Nothing sitting in a warehouse. Nothing marked down to clear a shelf.
We think that is a fair trade for three weeks. If you do too:
